A subscription downgrade can be opted for in the following scenarios:
Annual to Monthly Subscription
If you accidentally purchased an annual plan, don't worry! Our support team is here to help. Simply send us an email and we'll take care of the rest.
During the downgrade process, you will receive a full refund for your initial annual payment. However, please note that there will be an additional charge on your card for the monthly subscription.
Reduce Number of Seats
If you had purchased additional seats for your team or to add additional VGT hours to your account and now you wish to reduce the seats back to 1 or to a lesser number, there are two ways of going about this.
- If your current billing cycle is nearing its end, it may be more convenient to mark your plan for cancellation and purchase a new plan with the desired number of seats once your subscription has ended.
- However, if your plan has recently been renewed, kindly reach out to our support team and request for a reduction of seats.
When requesting for a reduction of seats, kindly ensure that there are no linked users present in your workspace.
Pro to Basic Subscription
If you have bought a Pro plan and wish to downgrade to a basic plan, then we would recommend following the same steps as Reducing Number of Seats.
- If your current billing cycle is nearing its end, it may be more convenient to mark your plan for cancellation and purchase a new plan with the desired number of seats once your subscription has ended.
- However, if your plan has recently been renewed, kindly reach out to our support team and request for a downgrade
Downgrading to a Basic plan will lead to loss of the following Pro features:
- Use of Pro voices
- Use of Voice Changer
- Loss of Transcription Time
