Head to My Account > Profile > Update Email
It's super important to keep your email address up to date! After all, it serves as your main identifier for accessing the platform, receiving important notifications, and staying in the loop with all the latest updates and developments.
In this article, we'll guide you through the simple process of updating your email address in your profile settings, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Step 1: Accessing Account Settings
Log in to your account using your existing email and password.
Head to My Account page.
Under Profile Settings, click on Update Email.
Step 2: Entering Account Details
Enter your current account password in the designated field. This is required for security reasons to ensure that only authorized users can change their email addresses.
Next, enter the new email address you wish to associate with your account in the appropriate field.
After verifying that the new email address is accurate, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Verifying the New Email Address
Once you click Continue, the system will initiate the email verification process.
Check your new email address inbox for a verification email. This email should arrive shortly after initiating the update.
Click on it to verify your new email address.
After successfully verifying your new email address, you will be redirected to the confirmation page.
Congratulations! Your email address has been updated successfully. You can now use your new email to log in to your account.
Note: If you accidentally dismiss the verification popup or encounter any issues during the verification process, you will need to start the email update flow again from the beginning. Ensure that you carefully follow the steps and keep an eye out for any verification emails in your new inbox.
If users have signed up using the SSO option, they will only be able to update their email address if they first reset their password to disconnect the SSO. Once the password has been reset, the Update Email button will become active.
They can then follow the same steps as above.
