Head to My Account > Profile > Update Email
It’s super important to keep your email address up to date! After all, it serves as your primary identifier for accessing the platform, receiving important notifications, and staying in the loop with all the latest updates and developments.
In this article, we’ll guide you through the simple process of updating your email address in your profile settings, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Users signed up using the Email and Password option
Step 1: Accessing Account Settings

Log in to your account using your existing email and password.

Head to the My Account page.

Under Profile Settings, click on Update Email.
Step 2: Entering Account Details

Enter your current account password in the designated field. This is required for security reasons to ensure that only authorized users can change their email addresses.

Next, enter the new email address you wish to associate with your account.

After verifying that the new email address is accurate, click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Verifying the New Email Address

Once you click Continue, the system will initiate the email verification process.

Check your new email address inbox for a verification email. This email should arrive shortly after initiating the update.

Click on it to verify your new email address.

After successfully verifying your new email address, you will be redirected to the confirmation page.
Congratulations! Your email address has been updated successfully. You can now use your new email to log in to your account.
Note: If you accidentally dismiss the verification pop-up or encounter any issues during the verification process, you will need to start the email update flow again from the beginning. Ensure that you carefully follow the steps and keep an eye out for any verification emails in your new inbox.
Users signed up using Google, Microsoft, or Slack SSO.
If users have signed up using the SSO option, they can only update their email address if they reset their password to disconnect the SSO. Once the password has been reset, the Update Email button will become active.
They can now follow the same steps as the email and password sign-up users to update their email address. If you registered through Google, Microsoft, or Slack, please refer to the interactive tutorial below to update your email address.
This process is intended for users who do not already possess a Murf account associated with the new email address they wish to use. If you have an existing Murf account under the new email address, contact our Support Team for help transferring your workspace to the new email.
