Timeline: Working with Background Tracks

Right-clicking on the image block expands the following additional options:
- Move Left | Move Right
- Download: Download the original audio file.
- Duplicate: Add a duplicate of the audio next to the selected audio block.
- Delete: Delete the soundtrack from the timeline.
- Replace Audio: With a longer audio track: By default, the audio is made to fit the original audio length.
- However, for the new audio to retain its original length or be of greater duration, kindly extend it using the slider.
- With shorter audio track: The duration of the shorter audio is retained and cannot be extended.
- Replace with Silence: If you don’t want the soundtrack to play, it will be replaced with a silent track. The silent track keeps the original audio length, which you can further adjust using the slider.
- Fade In/Out: Gradually increase the soundtrack volume at the beginning (fade in) and decrease it at the end (fade out). Learn more in this article.
Music Before and After Voiceover
If you’d like the music to start before the voiceover and continue after it ends, you can adjust it by adding empty blocks:
- At the beginning—Insert an empty text block at the start of the project and extend it to the desired duration.
- At the end – Add an empty block at the end of the project and extend it further using the slider as needed.
