Editing Narration in Murf Studio
When you use the PowerPoint plugin, Murf automatically creates a linked Studio project. Changes made in the plugin sync to that project in real time.
If you want to make advanced edits in Murf Studio using features such as Variability, Emphasis, or Say It My Way, first reset the link in PowerPoint and then duplicate the Studio project so you can edit it independently.
Step 1 - Reset the Project in PowerPoint
- Open the Murf plugin in PowerPoint.
- Click on the Settings icon.
- Select “Reset Project.”
- This will de-link the current project from Murf Studio and stop further syncing between PowerPoint and the existing Studio project.
Step 2 - Duplicate the Project in Murf Studio
- Go to Murf Studio and open the linked project (it will now be in read-only mode).
- Click Duplicate Project to create an editable version.
- You can now use Gen2 features such as Variability, Emphasis, and Say It My Way to refine your narration.
