Murf Studio supports the upload/import of media files and document files for quicker content creation. Let’s look at some of the upload recommendations and limits for a more seamless workflow.
Media Upload Limit
With Murf Studio, you can upload media files (images/videos/soundtracks) of any duration or size—there are no restrictions on how huge or long your file can be.
However, audio/video uploads using our “Audio to Text” feature are limited to 45 minutes. You can upload larger files via “Add Media” and transcribe directly from the timeline.
📹⬆️Media Upload Recommendation
While we do not impose any restrictions on media uploads, if you have a larger video or audio file, it is recommended that you split it into multiple sections for faster processing.
Script Import Limit
Murf does not impose any limits on how long your script can be. However, to ensure better processing of your file and project, we have a limit of 15,000 words per upload.
For example, if you have a script that’s 45,000 words long, you can very well import it into a single Murf project - you will just need to split the script into three parts and import. This limit also applies when you copy and paste your text.
However, SRT files(subtitle files) do not have an import limit and can be longer than 15,000 words, and you’ll still be able to import in one go.
