Where do my downloads get saved?

By default, exports are saved in your system's downloads folder or the default folder selected for your browser.

Downloads are saved in your local system based on your browser's download location preferences. By default, most browsers save exports to the system's downloads folder.

However, it is possible to change this default setting. Here are the steps to change the default download location in your browser:

Google Chrome

  • Open Chrome.
  • Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window.
  • Select Settings.
  • On the left side of the Settings window, click Downloads.
  • Under Download location, click Change.
  • Select the folder you want to use as your new default download location.
  • Click OK.

Mozilla Firefox

  • Open Firefox.
  • Click the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the browser window.
  • Select Options.
  • Click the General tab.
  • Under Downloads, click Choose next to Download location.
  • Select the folder you want to use as your new default download location.
  • Click OK.

Microsoft Edge

  • Open Edge.
  • Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window.
  • Select Settings.
  • On the left side of the Settings window, click Downloads.
  • Under Save files, click Change.
  • Select the folder you want to use as your new default download location.
  • Click OK.

Safari

  • Open Safari.
  • Click Safari in the menu bar.
  • Select Preferences.
  • Click the Downloads tab.
  • Under Default location, click the Change button.
  • Select the folder you want to use as your new default download location.
  • Click OK.
