Introduction to Audio to Text
With our Audio to Text feature, you can easily upload your audio or video (MP3/MP4) files to the Studio and transform your speech into any of Murf's AI Voices.
The Audio to Text option is only available with Growth, Business, and Enterprise subscriptions.
Audio to Text offers two essential functions:
- The ability to transcribe audio and video files.
- The option to transcribe and convert recorded voices into Murf AI voices while retaining the original timings.

When using Audio to Text, it’s important to note that it will consume both your account’s Transcription Time and Voice Generation Time (VGT).

This is because the audio or video file must first be transcribed, with the transcription time being dependent on the duration of the entire uploaded file.

Once the script has been transcribed, it will automatically be converted to one of Murf's AI voices. This conversion process requires your Voice Generation Time.
