The text content of your original video/audio and the dub are split into blocks in the script editor.
- You will see the original text on the left, and the translation on the right.
- Click on the text block to edit the original transcription/text and translate it so the changes are reflected in the dub.
- If the transcription is accurate and you wish to change the translated text, the bottom panel of the translated blocks supports multiple options: you can increase or decrease the translation length, generate more translation options and pick from the available options based on your existing translation, or input custom prompts to get translations that are best suited for your use case. You can also undo or redo changes.
Here’s the step-by-step walkthrough of editing your text content:
📑🔃Generating the Dub for Updated Content
Your changes are auto-updated, so you don’t have to render the blocks manually. However, if you see that the block play button is hollow even after a few minutes or if the block is highlighted in red to be resolved, please click on the block play button to render the translated voiceover.
⏰Translation Duration Syncing
By default, the translation duration is set to match the original duration. However, when you generate a new translation or increase the length of the translation, if the length of the text is significantly greater than the original length, the block will be highlighted for you to fix the error. Use the “Make it Shorter” option to reduce the text length while retaining the context.
